System:

• 350m² Underfloor Heating System using Rehau Pipe system
• 16kWh Single Phase Air to Water Heatpump from Hot Water Heatpumps Ltd.
• Woodsman Log Burner with 8kWh Wetback.
• Superheat 300L Copper Buffer Tank & 40L Copper Header Tank.
• Piped in Rehau, John Guest Speedfit & Copper.
• Controlled by a Heatmiser NeoStat system.

Operation:

• System is fully Automated in 7 individually controlled zones, the Heatpump powers the System from the early morning, when staff arrive for work they light the fire, which they helps to lift the floor and Air Temp in the building, eventually taking over the bulk of the duty load.

Note:

• With cupboard space at a premium (and young Kiddies with enquiring minds around) we decided to install as much equipment in the roof space storage room as possible. This meant that each of the floor loops had to be shorter than usual to allow for extra loop length to get to the roof. Underfloor pipes run up the false Chimney breast behind the Log Burner. Turned out to be quite a neat & tidy solution.
